Jan Tamáš.
I teach people to use AI. Before that, I spent twenty years building software.
From cybernetics to local AI.
I studied at the Czech Technical University in Prague: an engineering master's in automation and computer engineering (2002), then a PhD in technical cybernetics (2007). For seven years I trained developers in C#, .NET, WPF and Expression Blend at Gopas, a Czech IT training company.
I've worked on projects at Accenture, PwC, Raiffeisenbank and Springtide Ventures, and spent several years, through Toptal, as technical project manager at M2M Bio, a UK company building cloud infrastructure for cancer research.
Since last year I've worked on AI full-time. I build local AI agents on a DGX Spark, prototype RAG systems, train companies, and speak at conferences.
I teach because I love it when people do something they thought they couldn't. That's the good part of technology.
Today's stack.
Credentials.
Besides AI, I coach and write more personal pieces — in Czech, on my upcoming site jantamas.cz.
