Terms and conditions.
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Czech version is legally binding.
These terms set out the rights and obligations between Tamasoft s.r.o. (the provider) and anyone who orders a course, talk or consultation (the client) through tamasoft.net or by email.
1. Provider
Tamasoft s.r.o.
Company ID: 08530866
Registered office: Vačkářova 278, 251 01 Dobřejovice, Czech Republic
Registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague
Contact: jan.tamas@tamasoft.net
2. The service
An educational course, workshop, talk or professional consultation on using artificial intelligence in software development (the service). Scope, date, place and price are always given in the service's description on the website or in an individual offer sent to the client.
3. Ordering
An order can be placed through the contact form, by email, or through a linked registration form. The contract is formed when the provider confirms the order, usually by an email stating the price, date and payment details.
By confirming the order, the client accepts these terms.
4. Price and payment
The price is given in the service's description or in the individual offer. The provider is not a VAT payer; prices are final.
Unless agreed otherwise, payment is by bank transfer against an invoice due in 14 days, issued after the order is confirmed and sent to the client by email.
Company work and repeat engagements may have individual payment terms.
5. Cancellation
The client may cancel in writing (by email). Cancellation fees depend on how far ahead:
- more than 14 days before — no fee, any payment refunded in full;
- 7 to 14 days before — 50% of the price;
- less than 7 days before, or not attending — 100% of the price.
The client may send a substitute instead; that is not a cancellation.
The provider may cancel or move a course or talk (for example for too few participants, the trainer's illness, or force majeure). The client is then offered another date or a full refund within 14 days.
6. Withdrawal (consumers)
A client who is a consumer (a natural person not acting in the course of business) may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason (§ 1829 of the Czech Civil Code).
If the consumer agrees to the service being provided within that period and it is provided, the right of withdrawal ends (§ 1837(a) of the Civil Code). Courses and consultations already delivered are therefore covered only by the cancellation terms in section 5.
Withdrawal can be sent by email to jan.tamas@tamasoft.net.
7. Rights and obligations
The provider delivers the service with professional care, on the agreed date and in the agreed scope. The client pays the price on time and follows the organisational instructions.
Materials given during a course (slides, code examples, handouts) are for the client's personal use only. Sharing, reproducing or using them commercially requires the provider's prior written consent.
8. Complaints
If the service doesn't match its description or wasn't delivered in the agreed scope, the client may complain without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days of delivery, by email to jan.tamas@tamasoft.net with a description of the problem. Complaints are decided within 30 days.
9. Personal data
Personal data is processed as described on the separate Privacy page.
10. Disputes
The parties will first try to settle any dispute amicably. Failing that, the general court of the Czech Republic for the provider's registered office has jurisdiction.
A consumer may use out-of-court dispute resolution at the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Štěpánská 44, 110 00 Prague 1).
11. Final provisions
Matters not covered here are governed by Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and other laws of the Czech Republic.
The provider may change these terms at any time; a contract already concluded is governed by the version in force when it was concluded.
In force from 22 April 2026.
